This exquisite Violin Virtuosos program will highlight famous violinists, performed by violinist Kiril Laskarov, a native of Bulgaria. Laskarov has appeared as a soloist with the Arkansas Symphony, Las Vegas Philharmonic, Southern Illinois Symphony, Abilene (TX) Philharmonic, Conway (AR) Symphony, Symphony Irvine (CA) and Texarkana (TX) Symphony. In his 22nd season as concertmaster of the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra, Laskarov is joined by concert pianist Carl Anthony on the Butterfield Trail Village Performance Hall stage. Selections will include the love theme from Cinema Paradiso, a 1988 Italian drama film, as well as the famous tango, Por Una Cabeza, featured in the acclaimed films Scent of a Woman and Schindler’s List.
