BTV Foundation Stage Series Presents:
The Butterfield Trail Village Foundation is pleased to announce the return of international violinist and author, Natasha Korsakova. This lovely award-winning artist has appeared in many of the world’s most prestigious concert halls, performing with the Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano Giuseppe Verdi, the Vienna Chamber Orchestra and the Regina Royal Symphony. Korsakova was selected as Artist of the Year in Chile and Italy. Her repertoire includes over 60 concertos for violin and orchestra, as well as countless works of chamber music. Of Greek-Russian origin, she was born into a musical family in Moscow. Her first teacher was her grandfather, Boris Korsakova—and she received direction from her father, the well-known Russian violin virtuoso Andrej Korsakova. In her spare time, she has authored several crime novels set in locations around the world involving classical musicians. This evening’s performance, Sound Dialogs: Mozart, Vieuxtemps and Brahms, features Ms. Korsakova on violin and Erik Lawrence on piano. In the Performance Hall.
