Summertime is synonymous with cookouts and juicy hamburgers on the grill. Why not add vintage cars to the mix? Plans for BTV’s first social distancing cookout and car parade are underway, so get ready for a fun, safe evening – with plenty of pinstripes and chrome! Residents, order fire-grilled hamburgers for home delivery. Then, take a seat on your driveway, balcony or patio and enjoy as the Rolling Relics car club parades its vintage models around campus! Residents whose apartments face the courtyard may bring a lawn chair to a nearby exterior sidewalk to watch the parade. BTV, show your appreciation with signs, music, waves and smiles! To order your meal, contact Riki at rstamps@btvillage.org by 4pm on June 16. Following the parade, a small group of cars will be outside the Lodge on view for residents who observe social distancing.
