Many of you saw BTV host film director Larry Foley for the screening of Cries from the Cottonfields, a documentary about Italian immigrants who came to America in the late 1800’s to the horrific conditions of the Sunnyside Plantation in southeast Arkansas – before being saved by Father Bandini as he helped them begin a new life in Tontitown. Let’s support the surviving community of Italians and their 125-year heritage during the annual Grape Festival, with a homemade spaghetti dinner at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Then, walk the carnival runway and grab a grape ice cream!
