Honoring The Past By Giving to the Future

The BTV Foundation: Your gift matters

Founded in 1984, the Butterfield Trail Village Foundation exists to generate support for the Village and enhance the quality of life of our residents. Through contributions from supporters like you, the Foundation helps sustain a wide variety of important Village programs and services.

Your gift contributes to the sustainability of our programs and services for years to come. Generous contributions help us stay true to Butterfield Trail Village’s very special mission and create the kind of community our residents deserve. Gifts made to the Foundation will go to the area/fund you designate – or if unrestricted, your gift will go to the area of greatest need. We greatly appreciate your consideration and support.

Secure online giving functionality is available for your convenience.

Click the “Donate Today” button associated with the fund you would like to support and complete the brief form to make your tax-deductible charitable donation of any amount:

If you’re age 70½ or older, the Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) is a unique option that allows you to donate directly from your Individual Retirement Account (IRA) to a qualified charity like the Butterfield Trail Village Foundation in a way that may reduce your taxable income.

A Qualified Charitable Distribution allows for direct transfer of up to $108,000 per year from your IRA to a charitable organization. Funds must go directly from your IRA custodian to the charity to unlock tax advantages. If giving to the BTV Foundation, a QCD check must be made to the Arkansas Community Foundation with specific directions for the gift to go to the established BTV Foundation fund. Please contact the Butterfield Trail Village Chief Financial Officer for details about how to correctly initiate this process through your trusted financial advisor.
