As Butterfield’s Human Resources Director, Carmen Burasco is responsible for the organization’s human capital processes, designed to align individual employees with organizational practices that drive business success. Carmen focuses on optimizing a teamwork approach to best utilize every staff member’s strengths. A leader in human resources for the past 23 years, she started out in manufacturing, later worked in a corporate setting – and then discovered her love of the healthcare sector. Carmen has continued her education to earn her Senior Professional in Human Resources designation with the Society of Human Resources, as well as the Human Resources Certification Institute. She believes life is a continuum of learning and holds several certifications in coaching, organizational development, organizational transitioning , civil treatment and the Disney Institute, to name a few. Carmen lives in Springdale with her husband Shannon. They have one daughter.
