“Strength lies in differences, not in similarities.”

Stephen R. Covey

A life-long resident of Northwest Arkansas, you’ll find Kelly Syer to be a dedicated cheerleader for the fantastic quality of life found in the region – as well as a vocal advocate for Butterfield residents to be active participants in the many activities and events that make the local community so special. Kelly joined the Butterfield team in 2020 and has a diverse background in public relations, community engagement, fundraising and marketing. Her career has included leadership roles at the University of Arkansas, Tyson Foods, Cox Communications, Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art and the Downtown Springdale Alliance.
Kelly is happiest in her self-described role of “dot-connector,” which she describes as finding ways to connect people to others who share their passions. She believes Butterfield Trail Village is a perfect place to find remarkable individuals with numerous talents, interests and active curiosity, just waiting to be fed by a region as dynamic and engaging as Northwest Arkansas. Kelly has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Arkansas, and her favorite things are throwing parties large and small, traveling whenever possible and brainstorming delicious, adventurous kitchen projects with her husband, Scott.
