April Programming Changes

We, like all of you, are navigating the coronavirus pandemic and the subsequent challenges it is creating in our daily lives. Across campus, Butterfield Trail Village has implemented a number of state and federally recommended protocols to protect residents and staff from the virus, such as restricting public/visitor access, conducting mandatory health screenings, and cancelling or suspending large events and other group gatherings.

The BTV Programs and Events Department has been working to develop programming options for residents during this rapidly changing crisis. In response, we are now broadcasting live and special pre-recorded programming on Village in-house cable TV for residents to enjoy in the comfort and safety of their homes.

A daily programming schedule will be shown on Channel 1960. Residents can tune in to BTV in-house Channel 1961 for concerts and performances, exercise classes and special programs and events.

These programming changes are temporary and designed to help residents stay connected to Village news, fitness, technology and entertainment – while practicing social distancing.

The Programs and Events Department wants to assure residents that we are well-equipped technologically and operationally, and have taken steps to ensure our ability to serve you with minimal disruption.

Watch Channel 1961 for the BTV Daily News and campus updates and changes.
