Overview and Purpose:
Butterfield Trial Village (BTV) Foundation is a nonprofit retirement community located in Fayetteville, AR consisting of approximately 400 full-time residents.  Nearly 200 BTV residents remain physically active and wish to continue that active lifestyle after relocating to this facility.  The Wellness Team, consisting of one full-time employee, plays an integral role in supporting and improving the resident’s quality of life. The Wellness Program brings a multitude of services to the residents including group exercise classes, one-on-one personal training, wellness lectures, and local events such as wilderness adventure hikes, cycling, cruise get-a-ways, and local art show visits. The Wellness Team also helps residents transition from physical therapy to personal training in order to regain full range of motion and strength in the injured area to live a more independent life.
