A “BioBlitz” is a community event where volunteers and scientists work together to identify species by photographing plants, animals, bugs and fungi to map local biodiversity and aid research. Resident volunteers will be introduced to the program by our presenters, with the goal of joining us to visit nearby areas in May to collect nature photos using phone cameras and iNaturalist, a free app.
