Alan Gosman is an associate professor of music theory at the University of Arkansas. He’ll perform Johannes Brahms’ Variations and Fugue on a Theme by Handel. The piece, composed by Brahms in 1861, is one of the great variation sets for piano. Gosman is the son-in-law of BTV residents Thermon and Karen Crocker.
