What is Shen Yun, exactly? More than just a performance, it is the beauty and goodness of China before communism. With stories and legends, vibrant costumes, original music, and a few fun surprises – Shen Yun is an experience of Chinese music and dance that will delight your senses, inspire your heart and leave you feeling great. This anticipated event is hosted by the Kauffman Center in Kansas City, a city with so much to offer! The two-day trip will include Shen Yun, overnight accommodations at the historic Phillips Hotel, fine dining, and a tour of the Nelson- Atkins Museum of Art, which houses an extensive collection of Asian art. Before we depart for home, we’ll enjoy lunch at Union Station, the country’s first great union railroad terminal, built in 1908.
