Village Tours Presents: Roaring 20s – Prosperity & Peril in Tulsa

Tuesday April, 19th – Wednesday April, 20th
Depart 9am, Return on the 20th by 5pm

Join Village Tours for a step back into Tulsa’s time of prosperity and peril. This oil city’s 1920’s boom was clearly visible as the skyline blossomed and the population doubled. The decade and its wealth, beauty and innovation offer colorful stories of those who lived during Tulsa’s great transformation and turmoil. See the infamous Art Deco District, led by the Tulsa Foundation of Architecture – including our hotel, The Tulsa Club Hotel, and other Deco treasures. We’ll take a guided tour of the Historic Greenwood District, known as The Black Wallstreet. We will visit locations and hear direct family accounts of the terrible events of the 1921 Tulsa Massacre.
