SMS Text Messaging — Terms & Conditions

These SMS Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your enrollment in and use of text message communications from Butterfield Trail Village, Inc. (“Butterfield,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By opting in to receive text messages from us, you agree to these Terms.

1. Program Description & Types of Messages

When you opt in to receive text messages from Butterfield, you may receive the following types of communications:

  • Informational messages about our senior living community, care options, and available services
  • Responses to your inquiry or request for information submitted via our website
  • Appointment and tour scheduling confirmations, reminders, and follow-ups
  • Customer care messages related to your inquiry or ongoing communication with our team
  • Marketing and promotional messages about Butterfield offerings (only if separately consented to)

Messages will be sent from Butterfield Senior Living or on our behalf by authorized service providers.

2. How to Opt In

You may opt in to receive SMS communications from Butterfield by completing and submitting the contact/inquiry form on our website and checking the applicable opt-in checkbox(es). Separate opt-in consent is required for marketing/promotional messages and informational/customer care messages.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies and is based on your inquiry and ongoing interaction with our team. We will not send excessive or unsolicited messages beyond what is reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry or provide customer care.

4. Message & Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Please check with your mobile carrier for details regarding your plan’s messaging and data rates.

5. How to Unsubscribe (Opt Out)

You may opt out of receiving text messages from Butterfield Senior Living at any time by replying: STOP to any text message you receive from us.

Upon receipt of your STOP reply, you will receive one final confirmation message acknowledging that you have been unsubscribed and will no longer receive SMS communications from Butterfield Senior Living. No further messages will be sent following that confirmation, except as required by law.

If you opt out and later wish to re-enroll, you may do so by submitting a new opt-in request through our website.

7. Carrier Liability Disclaimer

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery of SMS messages is subject to effective transmission from your network operator. Message delivery is not guaranteed and may be affected by factors outside our control, including network availability and device compatibility.

8. Privacy

Your mobile number and opt-in information are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

9. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting of the updated Terms on our website. Your continued receipt of SMS messages following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
